About EL CAPITXN
Dubbed as a “K-pop Hitmaker,” EL CAPITXN (real name Jang Yi Jeong) is the master producer behind several K-pop hits of recent years. He has created chart-topping songs like “Daechwita” and “eight,” by BTS’ Suga and IU, respectively.

As recently as July of this year, EL CAPITXN yet again topped the charts when “Rendezvous” by AHOF was released, the lead single off of the group’s debut album Who We Are. This success was quickly followed by “Pinocchio,” another track produced by EL CAPITXN, which earned AHOF their first music show win.
Prior to producing for the group, EL CAPITXN first made waves as a mentor in reality competition “Universe League” where AHOF members were discovered. In the show, EL CAPITXN became known for adding a unique flair to his team’s performances, thanks to his masterfully produced songs.
However, EL CAPITXN’s roots in the entertainment industry date back to 2013, when he debuted as the main vocalist of South Korean boy group HISTORY. After the group’s disbandment, EL CAPITXN shifted his niche to music production and founded his own label, VENDORS, in 2018, while also enjoying collaborations with HYBE—the biggest music label in South Korea.
Known for his alternative rock sound with metal influences, EL CAPITXN will redefine the K-pop concert experience.
