Barbie Forteza, Choi Bomin, and more to star in new revenge drama series by GMA, CreaZion, and Viu PH
GMA Network, CreaZion Studios, and Viu Philippines are all set for a collaboration through the upcoming revenge drama series “Beauty Empire”!
According to the President and CEO of GMA Films, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, the latest collaboration with the two companies is aligned with GMA Network’s goal of delivering various content for diverse audiences.
Produced by the award-winning filmmaker Real Florido and veteran screenwriter Rona Co of CreaZion Studios, “Beauty Empire” provides a modern take on the Filipino experience about redefining one’s own beauty standards. Through this series, viewers will also be given an insider look at how the local beauty industry works.
For Viu Philippines, this project with GMA Network and CreaZion Studios is a step towards its objective to show high-quality Filipino entertainment to global audiences through their digital platform.
With GMA Public Affairs at the helm of its production, “Beauty Empire” is based on an original concept by CreaZion Studios and follows the story of powerful women who have a fierce rivalry with each other in the cut-throat beauty industry, where they struggle to gain ambition, revenge, and power above all.
The series boasts a remarkable cast line-up with Barbie Forteza, Ms. Ruffa Gutierrez, Kyline Alcantara, and Ms. Gloria Diaz, as well as Sam Concepcion, Chai Fonacier, and Sid Lucero. Also starring in the series is GLXY Talent Management and Universal Record’s newly-signed Korean artist Choi Bo Min.
Currently, “Beauty Empire” is undergoing production and will be premiering soon on Viu prior to its release on GMA Network.
