EXO’s CHEN successfully concludes his solo fan-concert tour, “Beyond the Door”

Last November 23, EXO’s CHEN held his first-ever solo fan-concert, “Beyond the Door” in New Frontier Theater, Quezon City. It is the fourth and last stop for this tour.

CHEN opened the door to his universe with his songs “Empty,” and “Dandelion.” Fans were in awe as he blessed us with his heavenly voice. He told fans to enjoy the concert, and not be afraid to sing along. The smile on his face whenever fans sang with him was heartwarming!

CHEN also played “CHEN-llenge” (not challenge!) where he had to fill in the blanks for missing song lyrics. CHEN jokingly sent an apology to Baekhyun for not being able to guess two of his songs. The segment ended with CHEN’s squirrel outfit, also giving life to a new catchphrase for CHEN!

Another highlight of the night were the fan projects. The first one was the “Dandelion Field,” where the fans held a flower with lights. CHEN took notice of the projects and the cutest smile adorned his face! He thanks fans for their efforts.

The second fan project included the fans singing along to “Everytime” as a gift to CHEN. SOONs and EXO-Ls’ singing were beautifully done!

From start to finish, CHEN and the fans’ energy always matched each other. The night was filled with happy memories, and will surely be one to remember for the books. I already miss him!
