Filipino K-pop don’t need to rush out and fly to Japan for the 2024 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)!

Thanks to BlastTV, 2024 MAMA presented by Visa, will be available to Filipino viewers for FREE. This will be in line with the launch of two linear channels, tvN Asia and tvN Movies Pinoy, on the streaming platform for a widening K-content variety for Filipino fans.

2024 MAMA will kick off at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on November 22, 2024, 11 a.m. Philippine time. The kickoff will be hosted by Park Bo-gum. Meanwhile, the official awards will be on November 23, 2024, 12 p.m., Philippine time, with Kim Tae-ri as its host.

This year’s concept of “BIG BLUR: What is Real?” will reflect the growing reflection of blurred boundaries in various industries, cultures, music genres, and technologies.

Fans can expect surreal performances that are visually captivating with the help of art and technology. Some of the performers fans can anticipate are SEVENTEEN, BYEON WOO SEOK, TREASURE, IVE and many more! 2024 MAMA also highlights the return of G-DRAGON who last performed in 2015.

With a 25-year legacy, MAMA has updated its criteria to set new standards for the K-Pop awards as it did years ago. It aims to highlight every aspect of K-Pop more than just music, from music video production to dance, global competitiveness, and much more.

2024 MAMA will be available for Filipino K-Pop fans for FREE on BlastTV through the linear channel tVN Asia on November 22, 11 a.m. for the kickoff and November 23, 12 p.m. for the award show proper.
