Get to know HORI7ON’s Marcus: The cutie maknae who will steal your heart
If you haven’t heard of Marcus yet, it’s time to catch up because this Filipino talent is making waves both on and off the stage. Marcus is known for his impressive performances and he is not just a rising star but also a multi-talented artist with a diverse background in entertainment.
Marcus first caught the spotlight in 2018 with his film debut in Regal Films’s “My 2 Mommies,” which was directed by Eric Quizon, he played the role of Tristan. But Marcus’s talents don’t stop at acting. From 2018 to 2020, he took the stage as young Simba in the Asian touring company of The Lion King.
In addition to his stage and film work, Marcus was part of “Team Yey!,” a Philippine children’s television show. His musical talent was front and center in the “Sound Check” segment, where he continued to impress audiences with his abilities.
But his achievement doesn’t end there, because in 2022, Marcus competed in “Dream Maker,” a reality survival show that sought to form a new boy band. Despite being the youngest contestant at just 13 years old, Marcus’s skills and dedication stood out. He consistently performed well throughout the competition and ultimately finishing second and securing a spot.
As part of HORI7ON, Marcus debuted on July 24, 2023, with their album Friend-Ship. Notably, Marcus along with other members contributed to the songwriting, including the track ‘Mama.’ With this remarkable achievement of Marcus, he surely is proving himself to be a versatile and talented artist.
