Long-awaited anime “Murai In Love” debuts exclusively on Disney+ 

After years of anticipation, the anime adaptation of the award-winning manga series “Murai in Love” debuted in Disney+ last September 4.

Set in modern-day Japan, this romantic comedy tells the story of high school sophomore, Murai (Kengo Takanashi), and his increasingly audacious attempts to win Ayano’s, his homeroom teacher, heart. He attempts to emulate his teacher’s favorite video game character in hopes of winning her over, leading to hilarious results.

“Murai In Love” features the performances of Kengo Takanashi as the voice of Murai; Yoko Hikasa as the voice of Ayano; and Nobunaga Shimazaki as the voice of Hitotose, the popular video game character.
