Let’s all meet and get to know Mr. Sunshine, Luo Yunxi
Luo Yunxi, also known as Leo Luo, is a talented actor and dancer from Sichuan, China. At the age of five, he began learning dance from his father, who’s a professional dance instructor. Over the next years of training and dancing, he received rigorous ballet training, honing his skills to a professional level.
After graduating from college, Luo Yunxi worked as a dance instructor at the School of Dance of Macao Conservatory, where he also took on a lead role as a dancer in the contemporary ballet “Flying to the Moon.” His performance was notably selected for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Macau’s transfer of sovereignty in 2009.
In the following year, Luo Yunxi made his debut in the entertainment industry as a member of the three-member boy group JBOY3, releasing the single ‘Promise of Love.’ Aside from this, JBOY3 also released two more singles, ‘Gravity’ in March 2011 and ‘Walking Emoji’ in July 2011, before disbanding in 2012.
After the group’s disbandment, Luo Yunxi transitioned to acting in 2012 with his debut role in the romance film “The Spring of My Life” with Tan Songyun, although the film was not released in theaters until 2015.
His first television drama role came in “Flip in Summer,” which aired in 2018. He also starred in some popular Chinese dramas such as, “Hello Aliens,” “Voice of the Dead,” “A Life Time Love,” “Ashes of Love,” “Light Chaser Rescue,” and many more.
In 2023, Luo Yunxi starred in the period detective romance drama “Follow Your Heart” as a prince-turned-detective suffering from prosopagnosia. He also took on a leading role in the fantasy wuxia drama Shui Long Yin, playing a highly skilled but introverted and indifferent swordsman.
We can’t deny that Luo Yunxi is truly a versatile actor. As he continues to captivate audiences with his amazing performances, fans eagerly anticipate seeing more of him on the big screen, confident that he will continue to deliver compelling and memorable roles.
