DAY6’s Wonpil sings an OST for Naver webtoon “A Not So Fairy Tale”
On May 30, TOON STUDIO released the OST for Naver webtoon “A Not So Fairy Tale”. It is entitled “After,” sung by DAY6’s Wonpil.
The song “After” is a ballad about having deep regret over a past lover after a breakup. The track contains earnest lyrics that express the ‘afterimage’ of the presence and time that has been taken for granted, which turns to yearning.
Wonpil’s clear, distinct voice and the different band sounds are combined in harmony to effectively convey the emotions of the webtoon’s characters through the song.
The webtoon “A Not so Fairy Tale” is about a woodcutter who steals a fairy’s robe who descended from heaven. The fairy becomes known as an actress who suddenly becomes accused of murder. It is available for reading through the WEBTOON app or website.
Meanwhile, DAY6 is set to hold their 3rd fan meeting “I Need My Day” in Seoul and online on June 21-23, 2024.
