PENTAGON’s Kino unveils 1st solo EP “If this is love, I want a refund”

PENTAGON’s Kino returns with his 1st solo EP “If this is love, I want a refund,” showing his abilities as an all-rounder artist. This marks the release of Kino’s first physical album since he established his one-person agency NAKED in December 2023.

“If This Is Love, I Want a Refund” is an album with bold and witty expressions about the various emotions felt throughout the process of love – from anger after a breakup to the feeling of finding new love. It differs from the typical heavy and serious love songs, truthfully showing the current generation’s way of loving.

The title track “Broke My Heart” is a song that sincerely conveys the thoughts of someone who has been betrayed by love. American rapper Lay Bankz featured in the song, making perfect musical synergy with Kino.

Overall, the EP consists of Kino’s five self-composed songs including “Solo,” which is about the happiness felt due to freedom after a breakup, “Freaky Love,” which is about love at first sight, “Valentine,” which is about the courage of youth to take risks, and “Fashion Style,” which is about loving yourself for who you are.

On April 26, Kino pre-released a performance video for “Solo.”
