The EP “Kick-start” symbolizes ‘starting the engine.’ It conveys the different feelings that someone goes through when they take a new step. With all their hard work from trainee days, pre-debut, up to now, TIOT’s members put their sweat and tears into this album.
The title track “ROCK THANG” is a song of the hip-hop genre about letting go of the unfamiliar and complicated feelings of youth through music. It showcases TIOT’s energy, hip-hop swag, and amazing harmony. Members Kim Minseoung and Kum Junhyeon also participated in writing the lyrics.
Last April 4, TIOT unveiled “Moonrise” as a pre-release track which caused excitement to their fans, LOTIs. The song and MV expresses feelings of friendship and youth.
Overall, the mini-album contains 5 tracks including “Goosebumps” which conveys TIOT’s bold aspirations, “Paradise” which has a distinctive melody that feels like an anime OST, and “Baby Shark” (inspired by the children’s song) that expresses a message of encouragement to everyone pursuing their dreams.
