Netflix series "Gyeongseong Creature" confirms to have season 2!

Gyeongseong Creature season 2 is really happening!

Season 1 of Gyeongseong Creature is set in 1945. In Seoul’s grim era under colonial rule, an entrepreneur and a sleuth fight for survival and face a monster born out of human greed.

In the said season, an intriguing post-credit footage was revealed, it is set in 2024 in Seoul where a character called “Ho Jae” who has a mysterious scar and bears a resemblance to Jang Tae Sang appears.

According to Director Jung Dong Yoon, season 2 presents a story with a completely different charm. The change in space and period will provide a clear distinction, offering an expanded universe feel.

The anticipation for season 2 is high as season 1 ended with a cliffhanger scene. Deeper character development of Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee is much anticipated in the upcoming season.

A unique blend of period drama and fantastical elements has captivated many viewers across the globe. Just 3 days after being released, it gained a spot in the Global Top 10 (non-English) to rise to third place and appear in the top 10 list of 69 countries across the globe including Brazil, Japan, Singapore, France, and Australia.
