Looks like your guesses were correct! “Alice in Borderland” is officially coming back for Season 3!

On September 27, Netflix has officially announced the third season of “Alice in Borderland”. Co-stars Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya will reprise their roles, and Director Shinsuke Sato will continue to direct the series.

“Alice in Borderland” is a survival drama based on Haro Aso’s manga of the same name. The story follows Arisu, an avid gamer who also feels a little lost in life. When he went out to visit his buddies Chota and Karube one day, the city suddenly became devoid of human life. They were sent to ‘Borderland,’ a place where people must complete games in order to survive. They are confronted with the question of what ‘living’ is as a result of this life-or-death encounter.

“Alice in Borderland” began streaming in December 2020, and entered the Top 10 in at least 70 countries, with an audience score of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. The second season of “Alice in Borderland” debuted in the top ten in at least 90 countries. It reached a milestone of 200 million hours of viewing time in Japan.
