Almost nine years into their debut, Red Velvet finally held their first solo concert in the Philippines on May 7 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Our Cake Girls expressed their excitement by showing the two sides the group’s always been known for since their debut – their “red” and “velvet” sides.
The girls of Red Velvet proved exactly why they’re one of South Korea’s top girl groups, even when they’re missing a core piece of the group, co-member Joy, who had to sit out of a few stops of their R to V concert due to health issues.
Nonetheless, Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Yeri gave their all to give their ReVeluvs a night to remember.

But even though she had to sit out and miss the live audience, Joy appeared through the LED screen for her parts. And even though through the screen, the fans cheered and screamed for her, hoping she could feel (and hear) all their love and support.
The girls of Red Velvet kicked off their sold-out one-night tour with some of their biggest “red” concept hits including Feel My Rhythm, BAMBOLEO, and LP.

They kept the night going with some of their biggest songs – Ice Cream Cake, Oh Boy, Queendom, Birthday, and Red Flavor. Hit after hit, you can hear the fans singing their hearts out and feel their overflowing love for the girls.

After spreading dreaminess, Red Velvet members showed off their darker side with fan-favorite songs from their impressive “velvet” concept.
Now dressed in all-black outfits, they kept the fans entertained with songs like Pose, Beg For Me, Zoom, and BYE BYE.
Filipino ReVeluvs impressed the girls with numerous fan projects they had lined up for the big night. The series of fan projects include a huge tarpaulin of a heartfelt message from the fans to the girls.

They also took notice of the fans’ green ocean dedicated to Joy. The girls assured the crowd that they would let Joy know of all the love and well wishes the fans sent her way.
As the night soon came to a close, the girls went ahead to end the night with an energetic performance of Zimzalabim and You Better Know which had the fans standing, their hands and hearts raised up to the sky.
And to finally cap the memorable night off, Red Velvet stood in front of the crowd, hand in hand, to give thanks for the unmatchable energy the Filipino ReVeluvs filled the entire arena with.

Of course, they couldn’t go without promising everyone to come back as five in their next concert series. We’ll definitely hold you to that promise, girls!

The event was presented by PULP Live World and Happee Hour.
