The much-awaited Netflix series “Black Knight” will finally premiere on May 12!
Based on the hit webtoon series of the same name, “Black Knight” follows the story of dystopian Korea which is destroyed by severe air pollution, making it unlivable without an oxygen mask.
“Black Knight” stars the most acclaimed actors and actresses in South Korea including Kim Woo Bin, Song Seung Heon, Kang You Seok, and Esom.
“Black Knight” tells the story of black knights, the deliverymen of dystopian Korea, who put their lives at risk to deliver the essentials to the people.
Kim Woo Bin plays the role of the legendary deliveryman called Knight 5-8. As his first leading role in 7 years, Kim Woo Bin shared that he enjoyed filming the series and he hoped that the viewers will enjoy it as much as he did while making it.
Also starring in this drama is Song Seung Heon, who plays the role of the lone heir of the Chunmyung group, Kang You Seok stars as a young boy who idolizes Knight 5-8, and finally, Esom plays the role of a major at the Defense Intelligence Command.
“Black Knight” is directed by Choi Ui Seok, who is known for his work in the films “Master”, “Cold Eyes”, and “The World of Silence”.
