Philippine K-Pop Convention held the largest and wildest K-Pop gathering event last December 30, 2022, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, after over 2 years of being unable to get together and celebrate due to the limitations imposed by the covid-19 pandemic.
During the event, various Kpop activities kept all of the attendees thrilled and excited such as Kpop Kosplay, Kpop Dance Battle, Kpop Singing Star (Singing Contest), and Kpop Idol Look-Alike Contest. The winners of each contest have been announced at the end of the event.
In addition, several fanclubs added enchantment to yesterday’s event by bringing fun activities to their respective booths. Some booths also provide backdrops for photos and they even prepared some standees, while others provide entertaining games such as raffle, quiz, and spin-the-wheel contest.
Numerous stores also participated in the event and offered a variety of items—from albums, photocards, lightstick, and many more—available on the event day.
Aside from that, some P-pop artists captivate the audience with their enthralling performances. Ppop group 6ENSE played their pre-debut song 6oodboy and did a dance cover of ASTRO’s All Night, while Ppop girl group KAIA performed their very own song KAYA and LE SSERAFIM’s Antifragile.
After all the enjoyable activities, the event concludes with an activity that anybody may participate in. And it’s no other than random play dance. The audience enthusiastically danced to every song of various girl and boy groups, while loud speakers played every rhythm.
