Finally! The PH adaptation of our favorite Korean drama is coming to Netflix!
Yes, it’s been confirmed that GMA Network’s Descendants of the Sun which starred Jennilyn Mercado and Dingdong Dantes alongside Rocco Nacino and Jasmin Curtis-Smith will start streaming on the said platform on November 13th this year.
The PH adaptation has 28 episodes as of March 18, 2020 but due to the pandemic situation, the airing of the show has paused for awhile for the staff and crews’ safety.
Recently, the show received the Most Popular Foreign Drama award from 15th Seoul International Drama Awards last September 10.
Dingdong Dantes, who played Capt. Lucas Manalo, also won the Asian Star Prize Award.
