Fans of Korean actor Jang Ki Yong were in for a treat during his first-ever fan meeting in the Philippines on Sunday at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura.
The fan meet entitled “Filmography” with the “The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos” and “Search: WWW” actor was a big success if you ask his fans and all those in attendance during the event. There are even fans who came all the way from Taiwan and Korea.
When he went out, he crooned his fans with the song Beautiful by Crush and fans all went gaga. Hosted by Sammy Oh, during the interview, Ki Yong shared about why the fan meet was called “Filmography” and said it’s his way of sharing with his fans some fond childhood memories and his career highlights through personally selected photos and songs to get to know him more.
Aside from the playful banter between the hosts and Ki Yong, he also played games and took photos with his beloved fans.
To end the meeting on a bittersweet note, after performing his last song, he went out to read a letter to his fans thanking them for the support throughout the years and to look forward to more projects where he can show his gratitude to his fans.
