CL, solo artist and the former 2NE1 leader is leaving YG entertainment. The agency confirms.

According to news outlet Sports Today Korea in an exclusive report, CL decided not renew her contract with YG.

After careful talk with the agency, both have agreed to part ways.

CL joined YG when she was 15 years old and later debuted with 2nd generation power girl group, 2NE1 in 2009. After disbandment in 2014, CL became a full-fledged solo artists.

In an offficial statement, YG Entertainment asked for continous support for CL in her future projects.
