Last September 16, Woozi, S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino of Seventeen released a full album titled An Ode with their carrier single Fear.

The album is composed of 11 songs which was mostly written by its members.

The album has Five versions namely : Real, Truth, Hope, The Poet and Begin. Each version has it’s own characteristic and uniqueness.

Real

Truth

Hope

The Poet

Begin

The MV of Fear has that Seventeen signature of extravagance for each of the members. Their synchronized dancing is something to look forward to what really highlights their performance skills. The landscape to portrait video format really will take everyone by surprise and it was one of the distinct things that you’ll love about the video.

I haven’t looked for the English translation of the song, because I am trying to see what feeling the video can evoke to me. The Video gives me the vibe of fighting their fears and how they are trying to break free. I am not sure if I am right but I will be delighted to know what you think Carats! 😊

The songs are now available digitally through spotify or apple music. See link below.

I love the way that their ballad songs accentuate the beauty of their voices. After listening to the whole album, my favorite for now is Lie Again. There was a part here that reminds me of Don’t Cry because of this line saranghaeseo, saranghandaneun mari bujokhaeseo that was taken from it and Home because of the BGM but I was missing that hook that I love so much about Home. I also enjoyed Second Life. Tell us your favorite song in the album Carats, we would love to hear them. 😊
