After Wanna One’s official disbandment last December 31, 2018, its members went on their separate ways and are now pursuing different careers.
While other members decided to chose to debut as solo artists or in new groups, Ong Seong Woo decided to try his luck in acting.
Ong was seen on the official script reading report for the upcoming youth drama “Moments of 18” by writer Yoon Kyung Ah and will be directed by Director Shim Na Yeon. He will be playing as the main lead, Choi Joon Woo, a strong-willed but lonely 18-year old who will learn about life as he go through the typical hardships and challenges of youth.
The full cast includes a lot of well-known names such as Kang Ki Young, Kim Hyang Gi, Shim Yi Young, Kim Sun Young, Park Sung Geun, Heo Young Ji, Astro’s Moonbin and more.
“Moments of 18” is scheduled to start airing on the second half of the year.
