The widely loved TVN drama “Reply 1988” will have a Chinese remake!
Last May 15, China’s media entertainment have reported that they are officially on the process of remaking the popular korean series. Moreover, the shoot will begin on June of this year.
The Chinese version of Reply 1988 will be a 45 episode series. It is set in the Luohu district of Shenzhen before and after the handover of Hong Kong back to China by the British in 1997.
Similar to the plot of the korean series, the story will still revolve around the lives of five families living in a small street.
