K-drama Review: “Something in the Rain”

 Have you seen the 2018 K-drama “Something in the Rain” also known as “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food”? 

Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food is a 2018 Korean drama starring Jung Hae In as Seo Joon Hee and Son Ye Jin as Yoo Jin Ah.

Yoo Jin Ah here is a single woman in her mid-30 who works as a store supervisor in a coffee franchise.

Then she met again Seo Joon Hee which is her best friend’s younger brother who came back to Korea after studying abroad. And later on love blooms in between despite their age gap.

The following are five reasons you should not miss watching Something in the Rain.

1. The story is realistic.

Realistic in a way that we all know it happens it real life. Age gap between lovers is never an issue. As long as the feeling is sincere and real.

2. Don’t close your door in “Love”.

What I mean is if there’s a chance to have someone to be in your life. Give it a try. Career and love life can be managed together. Just like how both the leads fought for the love.

As what I’ve said, Seo Joon Hee is a younger brother of Yoo Jin Ah’s bestfriend. What will you feel if your dongsaeng (younger brother) dated your chingu (friend)? Waaa. Watch nyo na para magets nyo hihi. 

4. Always fight for the one you love.

Eto talaga yun eh, if you really love someone as long as you’re not stepping on anyone. Fighting lang besh!

5. Believe in the so called “Meant to be”.

If both of you are really made by God to be with each other. No storm or trial can separate you. Ganern. Maghiwalay man kayo. Love will find its way to come back.

6. Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin’s chemistry is overwhelming 

The chemistry between Jung Hae In and Son Ye Jin is really overwhelming. Believe me bes, you will definitely wished to have your own Joon Hee upon watching this.
