Yoo Jae-suk shared the news with warmth and sincerity, explaining, “Hyeong-in is having her baby, so today is her last day on Running Man.” It was a quiet but meaningful goodbye for a PD who has guided the show for five years, helping steer Running Man through a period of evolution while preserving the spirit fans hold dear.

Kim Jong-kook added his own words of appreciation, saying, “I heard Hyeong-in has been doing this for five years. You worked hard.” It was a simple line, but one that reflected the family-like atmosphere that has always defined Running Man, where staff and cast share the same journey, both on and off camera.

The episode also marked the final filming day for Choi Daniel, who joined the show in April as part of the rental member project. Though his appearance was always meant to be temporary, Daniel approached every race and mission with full commitment, never holding back. Over the past months, he carved out his own presence, earning smiles from viewers who appreciated his sincerity and effort.

As a long-time fan, these departures feel bittersweet. PD Choi Hyeong-in leaves behind a chapter of Running Man shaped by care, balance, and steady leadership, while Choi Daniel exits having given everything he had in the time he was given.

While goodbyes are never easy, fans will be cheering both of them on as they begin their next chapters, grateful for the memories they helped create along the way.
