New P-Pop group ASTER successfully holds debut mall show

P-Pop boy group ASTER recently debuted under Asterisk Entertainment with 12 members (Cray, Gee, Alas, Charlie, Laurence, Kean, Loyd. Miguel, Gem, Kiel, Wayne, and Tatin).

Most of the members came from the survival show Dream Maker, a collaboration of MLD Entertainment and ABS-CBN.
Aster performed their debut song titled “BINGO” on their debut mall show held at Robinsons Metro East on July 7th.
We got the chance to interview the members after the event.
Q: How do you feel about your debut mall show?
Gem: Sobrang kinakabahan kasi halo-halo yung emosyon.
It was a successful event that their fans enjoyed. Gem thanks the fans who attended, “Kung wala kayo dito ngayon, wala rin kami.”
Gee: Sobrang daming taong umattend. May mga tao sa taas at baba na nagchi-cheer for us.
Q: How did you prepare for the debut song?
According to Tatin, the debut song “BINGO” was created with the help of the other members as songwriters. The idea, story, and the process came from all the members
Gee also revealed that they revised the chorus 3 times to make it more beautiful.
“BINGO” is about risk. The members came from different groups and different survival shows but didn’t get lucky. They still strived to debut and now they’re here!
Q: What inspires you to be an idol?
Wayne shared it wasn’t really his dream to be an idol and that he was redirected because of Dream Maker. He then realized that he wanted to take that path.
Cray was inspired by his parents who worked hard for them.
Q: Message to those who also aspire to be a P-Pop idol
Laurence: ‘Wag matakot mangarap. Believe in God na makakamit yung gusto mo sa buhay basta may faith kay God.
Don’t compare yourself to others.
Tatin: With ups and down, kung hindi ka lalabas sa shell mo, you’ll never know what will happen. First step is the hardest. Kapag nalagpasan, everything will follow. Bad experience… take it, learn from it.
Gem: Kung kaya ng iba, kaya nyo rin.
Gee: Laruin ang buhay. Kung matalo ka man, hintayin ang right spot hanggang sa mag-shine ka. Magtry nang mag-try hanggang sa manalo.
Q: What fans can look forward to from ASTER?
Charlie: Expect more music. ASTER is here. We are stars and we are here for many more years to come. More music, more entertainment pa, we will keep the fans entertained in any form.
Tatin: We will make sure all crafts we make for ASTER will be based on our experience, and how we look at life from our perspective, as that’s how we tell our story. Please make sure to read all of the lyrics to get to know more about us.
