EXO’s Doh Kyungsoo and Seol Kyung Gu confirmed to lead the upcoming science fiction film, The Moon.

Earlier today, October 14, news outlets reported that the two mentioned celebrities will be working together in The Moon.

As a response, Director Kim Yong Hwa himself confirmed on the same day that D.O. and Seol Kyung Gu will star in his movie.

In the article of Hobby En on October 14, it was also shared that SM Entertainment, D.O.’s agency, announced that the idol and actor will be taking part in the film.

EXO’s Doh Kyungsoo and Seol Kyung Gu were reportedly joining the science fiction film, The Moon.

In an exclusive news report of Star News on October 14, it was said that EXO’s D.O. and Seol Kyung Gu were given roles in The Moon.

It tells the story of two men, one who is accidentally left alone in space, and the other one from earth who will try to bring him back.

The movie will be directed by PD Kim Yong Hwa, who is known for his works, such as Along with the Gods, Mr. Go, 200 Pounds Beauty, and many more.

Meanwhile, D.O. is popular with his role in 100 Days My Prince, Hello Monster, It’s Okay That’s Love, Swing Kids, My Annoying Brother, and so on.

Then, Seol Kyung Gu with roles in Birthday, Idol, Memoir of a Murderer, The Merciless, and more.

Director Kim Yong Hwa and D.O. already worked together with 2017 and 2018 Along with the Gods film series.

As of writing, there is no confirmation yet that comes from the agency of D.O., SM Entertainment.

Currently, the idol and actor is fulfilling his military duties, and expected to be discharged in January 2021.

The Moon will officially starts filming in the first half of 2021.
