South Korean group BTS keeps on achieving awards worldwide. Guess what! They’ve bagged another Guinness World Records title this time.
Last April, the boy band’s Map of the Soul: Persona gained awards around the world; it includes the US Billboard 200 and the UK’s Official Albums Chart. Subsequently, the music video on the album’s title track Boy With Luv holds three titles in Guinness World Records. First, the Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group. Second, the Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours. Third, the Most Viewed YouTube video in 24 hours.
In addition, they’ve also gained titles in social media records, such as Most Twitter engagements (average retweets) for a music group and Most Twitter engagements (average retweets).
On June 25, BTS has been crowned again by the Guinness World Records. This time, it is the Best Selling Album in South Korea. After their Map of the Soul: Persona has sold 3,399,302 copies domestically as of May 2019.
Congratulations to both BTS and ARMYs! We are wishing all the best for the group as they truly deserve all these achievements. May they inspire more people as what they are doing right now.
